The 2024 Paralympic Games will feature medals awarded in 549 events across 22 sports at 20 venues. Among these, the aquatics center at La Defense has recently hosted medal-winning performances from Olympians like U.S. star Katie Ledecky and France's Leon Marchand. Additionally, the athletics events at Stade de France saw U.S. long jumper Tara Woodhall-Davis win gold, cheered on by her husband, sprinter Hunter Woodhall, who will compete for his own gold starting September 1. One of the Games' most memorable moments occurred when Tara leaped into Hunter's arms after her final jump.
